In this section I will post pictures, graphics, and related non-motion art. As stated in the Slapdasher's Mission, graphics is both a symptom of my "ooh, sparkly" issues as well as a source for inspiration and exploration for my writing. Therefore, I will likely post covers, banners, buttons, and similar creations related to my stories and other endeavors, be they concepts or definitively completed works.
I may also discuss the creative process regarding my art, the frustrations in figuring out how to accomplish what I imagine (and how to make the software do what I want it to do ~_~ooo), and how (if at all) they relate to my writing projects.
I appreciate feedback on them, and while I'm not much of a crier, I don't promise to have a terribly thick skin. This doesn't mean I don't want honest criticism. I do. Even when it hurts. Just, please, try to keep it in a constructive manner rather than a destructive one. I'd prefer learn to improve my abilities, not give up on the interest. And, while the subtitle of this section requests that you "don't snicker at the doodles," it's just a fun statement. I expect many laughs over what I think may be a great achievement of mine but others find amateurish or simply not attractive or expressive enough. Still, I hope those aren't the only kind of amusement visitors garner from this section. ~_~ooo
That statement should probably be added to Slapdasher (video/animation section) and Drabbler (writing samples section), but probably won't be. I feel silly enough for stating it here. Shouldn't this just be expected of people in general? Aren't manners important anymore? I'm not naive to the world and its harshness, but a girl can be hopeful, can't she?
And wow... it's weird to refer to myself as a girl at my age. Yet, it's even weirder to call myself a woman.
Ahem...
I hope you find enjoyment on this section, throughout all of my blog, actually, as well as inspiration, encouragement and camaraderie. And, as always...
